Comin won a grant from USF

On August 7, the ninth Pitch Day, organized by the Ukrainian Startup Fund, took place on the territory of the UNIT.City innovation park. 10 startups submitted their ideas at the seed stage (grant of $ 50,000). We are glad to announce that at the meeting of the Fund’s Supervisory Board, it was decided to finance three of them, namely:

ORTY. The restaurant management system, through the introduction of self-service, delivery and chatbots, helps restaurants sell more.
COMIN. Allows content websites to generate income from content without additional steps, labor or special skills. Comin provides an e-commerce widget that automatically matches the product to the post content. The process of purchasing goods is carried out directly on the content website without the transition of visitors to the store site, and the processing of orders is carried out by the owner of the goods.
Nutritionista. An intelligent mobile app that recommends healthy food to users in nearby restaurants based on personal preferences such as food types, allergens, AI and computer vision eating habits.

Who evaluated?

The pitch of startups was evaluated by the members of the Contest Committee:
Sergey Dovgopoly. Managing partner of the FeelGoodLabs business accelerator.
Mikhail Khaletsky. Senior Investment Analyst at Simpact VC.
Anna Tolstanova. Head of the research department and professor at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Roman Kirigetov. Co-founder and CEO of FlashBeats, founder of Kabanchik.ua and Crafta.
Alexander Yatsenko. Managing Partner at BRISE Capital.
Andrey Zinchuk. Demium Managing Director.
Vadim Rogovsky. Head and founder of Startup School Online.
The main criteria for evaluating seed projects are: team, market, technology, product, strategy. The full recording of the ninth pitch can be viewed on our official YouTube channel here.

The Comin team is grateful to the Ukrainian Startup Fund for the opportunity to take part in the startup competition! We hope this victory will be the starting point for our startup. We will try to justify the trust shown!
